18 1/2 x 15 1/2 Acrylic on canvas created with brush and palette knife. I created this painting after seeing “Swan Lake” at The Houston Ballet with my daughter. I think the ballet is one of the most beautiful things to watch in life, and this painting represents my appreciation for the Art, and also for the story of Swan Lake.

32 3/4 x 26 3/4 Acrylic painting on canvas, created with palette knife and brush. This painting is based on a condition known as “Stockholm Syndrome”…….The woman in the painting does not know if the man is her oppressor, or her savior, or both, but she is his, and he is all she has come to know.

38 1/2 x 38 1/2 Acrylic on canvas created with brush and palette knife. I created this piece inspired after seeing Andrea Bocelli perform in concert, where the moon was a constant theme throughout his performance, and also referenced in my favorite song of his “Con the Partino”. The moon also has deep spiritual significance, and the title I chose is based on a Scripture out of the Bible where God calls the moon his “faithful witness in the sky”. The moon represents the female, and the sun represents the male, and together they remind me of a perfect heavenly union…..a […]

26 3/4 x 22 3/4 Acrylic on canvas. Every time I paint Mary, she just seems to gracefully fall onto the canvas with an effortless flow……it happens every time. And in this particular painting, I started painting her in with my brush, with a vision completely different than what you see here, but once I got her on the canvas, something about her felt so perfect and complete that I did not want to touch her. And you know how when the sun is shining on a person, and you lose sight of their features, particularly in a photograph, and […]
14 x 11 acrylic on canvas. This painting has a lot texture to it…..I created it using mainly palette knife, and finished with brush. I had no thought or intention in mind when I was working on it…….I was just painting to the sound of the music, like I typically do when creating an abstract piece, and suddenly a Picasso-esque creation appeared. In it, I see two faces that are one, which is so much of what I feel within me, all the time……I feel a marriage within me, that is quite complicated to explain, because it is very much […]
34 1/4 x 26 1/4 Acrylic on painting created with palette knife. I almost always paint to music, but sometimes I like to paint in complete silence, and this abstract piece was painted in complete silence…….just flowing to nothing but the rhythm of my heart, and to the natural sounds around me. This is what came of it.
