• "Hidden State of Mind"

This is a 14 x 11 acrylic painting on canvas, created with palette knife. I created this painting while working on another piece. As with all my abstract work, there is no thought in mind, until the painting comes into its own, and what came to me is the face of a man, who seems a bit like a Rock Star to me.......a complicated hot mess of a thing.

  • “Ms. February”

24 x 48 acrylic painting on canvas, created with palette knife and brush. This painting is no.1 of a series I plan to do.

  • “Mardi Gras”

This is a 14 x 11 acrylic painting on canvas, created with palette knife. The inspiration came from a recent trip to The Vatican.

  • "His"

This is something I painted from my head......I did not have a model sit for me. The painting now sits on a table next to my husband's side of the bed......he loved it so much, that he pretty much claimed the painting as "his", so that is the title I gave it.

  • "From the Heart"

This is a 14 x 11 acrylic painting on canvas, created with brush and palette knife. This painting too, was inspired by our recent trip to The Vatican, and I painted it in the very early morning hours when I could not sleep, by a very dim light, in about 30 minutes.......I felt a but like Michelangelo painting by candlelight while creating this. It is a painting of Mary of course, but I titled it "From the Heart", due to the quick amount of time I painted her in.......I happen to really love the painting, and only something completely from the heart can flow so effortlessly, I figure.

  • “Marilyn”

I painted Marilyn in acrylic, and she was painted on top of an abstract I had done prior, which is why there is so much texture in the painting, which I wanted it to be that way...
