44 1/2 x 44 1/2 Acrylic on canvas. This piece was created with brush and palette knife. The inspiration is from a section of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s paintings, but based on spiritual teaching’s and personal experience based on these teachings. In spirituality, the left, or left hand in my painting, is the side of judgement, whereas the right is the side of mercy. But not all judgement is bad……judgement through righteousness is also a form of spiritual correctness, and comes from the Patriarch Isaac, whom represents the left (judgment and correction for the sake of righteousness). And the woman in this painting is going through a spiritual correction, which is not easy for her, but it is being done out of Love and righteousness sake, so the judgement here, or “correction” rather, is actually a blessing.
