This is a 14 x 11 acrylic painting on canvas, created with brush and palette knife. This painting too, was inspired by our recent trip to The Vatican, and I painted it in the very early morning hours when I could not sleep, by a very dim light, in about 30 minutes…….I felt a but like Michelangelo painting by candlelight while creating this. It is a painting of Mary of course, but I titled it “From the Heart”, due to the quick amount of time I painted her in…….I happen to really love the painting, and only something completely from the heart can flow so effortlessly, I figure.
